helping them to achieve their goals to a better future.
FOCUS
Our holistic assessment process focuses on identifying each young person's social, emotional, and practical needs.
TARGET
Whilst working with vulnerable children and young adults, we develop targeted plans that are strength based, regularly reviewed, have specific goals and milestones that celebrate small steps of success whilst maintaining a high level of motivation.
STEER
Our programmes chart and record the physical milestone achievements, goals and targets which the young adults should sustain in order to transition into independence.
For Young People
"Centred around young people, our service is committed to ensuring successful outcomes for those who live under our roof."

A Home That Helps
Our aim is to provide supported accommodation to vulnerable young people (aged 16 – 18). Giving targeted, personalised care and guidance to those deemed challenging or hard to engage.
Our Service
Our service is all about vulnerable children and young adults, we are committed to ensuring that those who stay with us go on to have fulfilled lives.
We recognise this is particularly important for children and young adults who are vulnerable by virtue of their lived experiences. Those who have been looked after, are in care or have left their homes, and for the young adults whose first language is not English, whilst under our roof we will ensure a nurturing and supportive environment.
If you have been referred to Terri’s Place, then we look forward to welcoming you to your new home. Please take time to read this page so you know what to expect when you arrive.

Additional Needs
Whilst we understand that not every young person(s) needs will be the same, and some may require more support than others – We assess the individuals needs and devise a personalised support plan in conjunction with Local Authorities.
Those with additional support needs will be offered a bespoke support package best suited to them. Whether they have issues with substance misuse, sexual exploitation, repeat offending behaviour or emotional support needs we will charge additional costs to the basic support package. Based on the specific needs of the young person we will negotiate pricing to include any specialists input or increased staff levels, whilst bearing in mind that our priority is managing risks to the individual young person, we also prioritise the safety of other residents and our staff.

Social Workers
We work closely with Social Workers and Local Authorities to provide the best support services to the young people in our care.
We accommodate young people (16 – 18 years) with low, medium and high needs across our homes. We will safeguard these individuals by identifying their specific needs and matching them to the properties they’d be best suited to (size, location, residential mix, and specialist support).
